Dr Uchechukwu Arum is a specialist registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in West Midlands deanery in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the executive board of the World Federation of Medical Education.
He is the current chairperson of JDN, World Medical Association and was previously the education director for three years.
He is the past Chief registrar of the Dudley group NHS trust and a past Chair of the British Medical Association West Midlands Regional Junior Doctors Committee.
He obtained his MBBS from University of Nigeria and has held several medical leadership positions both in Nigeria and United Kingdom.
He is interested in improving women’s health, global health, medical leadership and in the advancement of medical education.
He hopes to contribute in making the world healthier and believes that everyone should have access to the healthcare they need, irrespective of their financial status.
